We are investing our energy and optimism into hosting an in-person event. There is a hearty appetite to touch, smell, savour and experience your offerings! After a hiatus, we understand that you are also ready to showcase your handiwork, green thumb savvy, culinary skills, and active living business AND we are ready to champion your talents. Be assured that this in-person plan has been carefully considered and that all provincial guidelines will be followed to ensure that we are offering a safe environment.

Herbfest celebrates healthy living. We welcome anyone who grows, creates, brews, or owns a business that promotes a healthy lifestyle to participate in this event! To keep the positive energy flowing, we are keen to highlight musical talent, active living demonstrations and cooking presentations. Held on the magnificent grounds at Waba Cottage Museum and Gardens, in White Lake ON, guests will have the opportunity to navigate vendor booths along 8 acres of property situated on the shores of White Lake.

The Vendor Package includes placement on the Herbfest website which will provide links to your website and/or social media so that guests can learn more about your business, and shop for products. Keeping in mind that surfing the COVID wave means that if we must adjust to a new plan, this website will act as Plan B. If we are unable to hold a live event, the ‘in person’ portion of your vendor fee will be reimbursed. This website will be active for guests to navigate from June 1, 2022, through February 28th, 2023, extending your sales reach past the holiday season. For optimal exposure, we suggest that you register by April 30th to ensure that your vendor details are included in the June 1st virtual launch!

The fee for a General Vendor is $70 and the fee for a Food Vendor is $120 (anyone preparing or serving food from either a food truck or food stall). Note that $30 of your vendor fee is non-refundable and is allocated to website promotion, the remainder of the fee is classified as your ‘in-person’ portion which would be refunded if we are unable to hold a live event. Herbfest does not charge a fee for parking or entry – with free music and activities in store, this event is sure to draw a crowd

A Message from the MidSummer Herbfest Committee:

In no particular order, we love summer, taking care of our earth and herbs. From day to day, we use herbs for remedies, savoury food garnishes and spiritual purposes.

The museum is currently closed to the public.

Waba Cottage Museum and Gardens has a collection of five historic museum buildings nestled in 8 acres of lovely gardens on the scenic shore of White Lake. An ancient Scottish Clan Chief ruled the roost here with an iron fist. Laird Archibald McNab brought over settlers and subjugated them to medieval feudal terms for almost 20 years.

Our vintage buildings have their stories. The stone house echoes Archibald’s reign of error. The log church, schoolhouse, dairy barn and display building offer unique insights into the daily lives of our early residents.

In the 1970s, whale bones were discovered within 2 kilometres of our location. Today, these are important clues in a 2019 breaking news story that spans 12,000 years. New theories about comet strikes, melting ice caps, inland polar oceans, continental wildfires, mass extinctions of man, mammoths and other large mammals are attributed to this ‘bad day’.
