On Sunday, July 28, we welcome you to join us in celebrating our 24th annual festival of healthy lifestyles.

We love summer, herbs, taking care of our earth, embracing our future and respecting our past.

And we have it all here in White Lake, within an hour’s drive of Ottawa.

Midsummer HerbFest highlights the roles that herbs play in our lives.  Herbs provide remedies, savoury food garnishes and can be used for spiritual purposes.

Activities will include vendors, displays, demonstrations, music, crafts, children’s activities and food and drink concessions.

Waba Cottage Museum and Gardens is a collection of five vintage buildings nestled in 8 acres of lovely lakeside gardens.

It’s also a historic site. Quasi-feudal tyranny by an ancient Scottish Clan Chief was rampant here for almost 20 years.  It’s true.

8 acres of beautiful themed gardens were developed for the 2000 Millennium.

Our park offers mobility access, parking, and washrooms.

This event is being presented by the Ottawa Valley Herb Association in partnership with the Township of McNab/Braeside.

Parking is being arranged with a free shuttle that will be available from a secondary parking lot.

Please consider these items on your ‘what to bring list’. Hats, shade umbrellas, lawn chairs, sunscreen and a camera. As an eco-option, we suggest that you bring a refillable water container. We will provide a tap with drinking water and rinsing station. Bottled water will also be on sale.
